Real GDP (in millions of 2009 dollars)

As you can see by the attached graph, North Dakota’s economy was hit hard by the oil boom! This is probably something we all know if we were living here at the time, but have you seen how MUCH the GDP went up? Even through the slowdown, we are still much higher than the average in the United States.
