The Behavioral Health Committee is created as a standing committee for the purpose of working with the Vision West ND Board of Directors, consortium, and administration. The Committee’s primary purpose is to assist with the planning, development, and implementation of the Behavioral Health education programs for the Vision West ND region.
Scope and Key Committee Tasks
Behavioral Health Summit
Determine topics and presenters. Assist with contacting and confirming presenters
Assist in the development of the Summit budget and identify where the budgetary needs will come from (ex: Sponsorships, registration fees, exhibitor fees).
Assist in acquiring sponsorships and exhibitors
Identify amounts for registration and exhibitor fees; identify sponsorship levels
Determine CEUs and make application to appropriate agencies
Assist in marketing the Summit through social media, interviews, letters to the editor, etc.
Other planning requirements as needed
Other educational activities
Ongoing Education
Assist the Vision West ND administrative team in identifying needs for ongoing education beyond the Summit – webinars, podcasts, tool kits, etc.
Identify potential topics, current and pressing issues, presenters, and budgetary needs
Assist with scheduling and securing presenters to fill the schedule
Assist in marketing the educational sessions through social media, interviews, letters to the editor, etc.
