The Member Engagement Committee (Committee) is created as a standing committee for the purpose of working with the Vision West ND Board of Directors, consortium, and administration. The Committee supports membership growth by actively recruiting and retaining members. The Committee will also assist with the planning, development, and implementation of fundraising efforts for Vision West ND as a nonprofit organization.   

Scope and Key Objectives

• Advise Vision West ND on current membership policies and oversee programs for the recruitment and retention of members;

• Contact lapsed members for renewal;

• Evaluate membership levels, criteria, and structure for dues on an annual  basis and determine if updates are necessary;

• Examine the reasons Vision West ND attracts and maintains members to ensure Vision West ND remains responsive to those issues;

• Continually add value to Vision West ND membership by identifying, implementing, and marketing the exchange of ideas, networking, and communication among members;

• Provide guidance on the development of surveys and other research instruments that will help to evaluate members’ needs, interests, and opinions.

• Execute at least one  annual fundraiser to help support Vision West ND’s operating budget;

• Seek the assistance of Vision West ND consortium members in implementing fundraising efforts.
